The perfect gift for the landscape lover! A southwestern cave painting that is fixed on glazed mug.
Each tankard mug holds about 14 ounces (medium), and is 4 inches in height by 4 inches wide(Available in 19 oz size on main site). Our artist created a stamp for the cave painting which is impressed into a piece of clay and worked into the main mug body. This oval piece is waxed and when glazed, the symbols picks up the glaze. handmade slip cast from our artist's original hand thrown and hand carved piece, then glazed (inside) and fired to Cone 9 (Durable Stoneware). As with all hand made pottery, the color will vary slightly from piece to piece. Each mug is lead-free and microwave/dishwasher/oven/food safe.
